Harmonization of the text with Germany

Skopje, September 25-26, 2008

The delegations for bilateral negotiation of texts of agreements on exchange and mutual protection of classified information of the Republic of Macedonia and the Federal Republic of Germany, met on September 25-26, 2008 in Skopje to harmonize the text of the Agreement on Mutual Protection of Classified Information between the governments of the two countries.

The Macedonian delegation for bilateral negotiation was headed by the Director of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information and included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia.

The German delegation was headed by a high representative of the National Security Service of the Federal Republic of Germany and included representatives of the Federal Ministry of Interior, the Federal Ministry of Defence and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

Currently activities are underway for final harmonization of the text of the Agreement.
